Alkydprimer is a single pack oil based primer/undercoat for use on steel and aluminium surfaces where Pilot II is the desired finish coat.
Ballastic Black is for use on steel behind insulation, cofferdams, water tanks (non-potable), concrete and similar materials as damp-proof coating. It is also widely used below the waterline on canal boats. Bitumen products such as Ballastic Black provide an extremely flexible coating suitable for a wide range of uses both above and below the waterline. Ballastic Black is an equivalent to Intertuf 16, but has a higher percentage of volume solids. This means that when applied at the same spreading rate as competitor's products, Ballastic Black will provide a thicker coating which will give better corrosion protection and, perhaps more importantly, at a lower cost. It is a bitumen based coating that is extremely waterproof and easy to apply. It can be applied on bare steel or over existing coatings.
Conseal Touch-Up is a single pack, high build acrylic self-priming topcoat which can be applied directly onto almost any steel construction. It is quick drying and available in a huge range of colours.
The one-product solution! Conseal Touch Up Aluminium is a single pack, high build, self-priming topcoat which can be applied direct to metal. Available in 5 litre tins.
Penguard Primer is a high-molecular-weight epoxy primer for new construction. It can be used as a primer as part of a complete system in atmospheric and immersed environments. Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, concrete, galvanised steel, shop primed steel and thermally sprayed zinc substrates.
Pilot QD Primer is a single pack, fast drying alkyd based primer with zinc phosphate as an active corrosion preventing pigment. It is for use on steel or aluminium structures in moderate non-aggressive environments. It can also be used as a primer on bare steel under the Jotun Steelmaster range of intumescent paints.
Use to differentiate between coats. Apply a small amount of this tint so the second coat shows as a different colour to the first coat thereby ensuring even coverage and better protection.
